Sexual Fantasies

Before I elaborate on sexual fantasies I feel it would be wise to define what they are or at least the fashion I perceive them as being. Sexual fantasies or at least in my opinion are about the set of circumstances surrounding the acts of carnality we engage in or hope to do so rather than for example whom they involve or the beauty of the person. For instance several men, though I say not all or even most envision themselves in their own visions of delight as being in the act of lovemaking with several women at the same time, in what could commonly be referred to as an "orgy".

This to many might seem like the most popular among such fantasies yet contrary to this concept the one which is mostly shared amongst males is of being able to seduce and bed their wife's or partner's best friend. This though I do not hold this particular fantasy as one of my own might be in order to test if their sexual partner will find out of what transpired or perhaps to create the possibility for notes to be compared by the two ladies in question. In a similar fantasy of my own I have ventured to create in mind if not yet anywhere else the chance that I might be caught amongst those ladies who are sisters to one another or even more enticing as depicts the book I am currently laboring on a mother/daughter liaison.

Book For Men

With this in mind that it is what surrounds us in the act more than with whom we are involved with I would like to say that based not upon a dream but an article I read once in a magazine of the sort that one of my fantasies has become and still is as it has not yet been realized. It being to be awaken by any female who should choose to do so, with the force and at the same time delicacy of that which has been dubbed "oral sex". Perhaps to some this may be an overly simple fantasy; as I do not seek to perform the act while skydiving or under water yet the concept of being transformed out of slumber by a woman taking this ever fragile part of my anatomy in her mouth, and slowly bring it to live to obtain its full length and vigor while doing likewise to me, seems incredibly alluring.

Sexual Fantasies

It making me so venerable at the start; as she takes this part of me in her mouth, while I am not even aware of what it is that it is being exposed to, all of which making me a tool of lust as it be to this one who has chosen that ours should be the act of carnality. Of course it would be with some time that be not overly long that my root along with the rest of me would join the activity of sexuality. In all this however if such were to ever be the case that this fantasy of mine be excluded from these ranks as it would become reality, it would fulfill another one. This being to be able to finish the deal of incursion in to the female body, via this entrance which has stirred my root from its limpness and me from my sleep, as it is this which I have never been able to accomplish, yet not due to lack of effort on those who have tried or restrain on my part but perhaps too much control that sees me not become so excited as others might be.

I must say however that in all truth I do not have any other fantasies, remaining as such perhaps due to a lack of imagination yet not daring for this we need not to conjure up dreams yet to execute them as I did the one of performing this all too common act of nature in that precise place. This being what occurred between "Rusate" (my dentist) and I upon my first visit to her country house, which saw us go for a walk that included more than stretching our legs, as garments were removed to lie on dry grass with the intent of testing if ours could go unnoticed or perhaps hoping it would not, in the care we had lost at that moment that it might.

Regarding public places, it was the opera which held the most interest for me, as this is a place which I consider to be one of if not the greatest bastion of culture on earth; to the point that I have even written books and stories of sexuality being performed side by side works the likes of Verdi's "Aida" and Mozart's "Don Giovanni" in this place of most graceful society. All of which making the act more erotic as there is always the fear of being caught or perhaps just the worry of it; though it should not bring legal problems upon any. Naturally this depending on the country and its liberality in which one and the other may be in at the time.

As for myself, it did not come about my ideas that such could be till one day in May of 2004, when I and a younger lady than myself (by 17 years) at the time found ourselves at Warsaw's Teatr Wielki and aroused by "La Traviata". This being that which prompted my hand to take to exploring those hidden areas of her womanhood; my eyes had not yet bestowed itself upon. This whilst my mind was all too conscious of as my touch went unopposed by this young damsel to that area of her under garments which could be felt beneath by that most delicate of flowers I have often dubbed in my work as her rose. It was this ever subtle of my strokes yet not brief that would cause other emotions to manifest themselves yet not on that night or stage in our relationship, as these would have to wait.

I as can be expected from an opera lover was bound to return with another lady, which would be named "Rusate" in poems yet again ours was not fully what I had hoped; as perhaps our daring or lust was not yet sufficient to go up the ramp of completing what we initiated when hers with stockings, took seat with legs open as ours was an embrace of the mouth with mine going down to those points so crimson upon her female mounds. After this evening of Puccini's "Turandot" came many an encounter of a sexual nature between Rusate and myself yet none as far as the opera house was concerned that would even approach the first let alone that which I had fully hoped for.

It however would be mine to wait till the following year of 2006, when I met "Rompryska"; it being upon our second encounter that we engaged in overwhelming physically exhausting acts of sensuality before attending a performance of Mozart's "The Magic Flute" at the very same "Teatr Wielki". All of which draining me of both any vigor or vitality required on my part to take her intensions further when she did place my hand underneath her blue dress so my hand's senses could delight in the band and flesh just above this most delicate of silk undergarments she choose to wear for the occasion. It was with smile on lips in my fatigue that I gazed upon her at this moment, for ours were the bodies of those spent by each other, that would demand till at least after the opera to recover their strength as they did by time of late night back in my apartment.

Rompryska along with Rusate and I have not till this day concluded what to a certain extent we did commence, however for my own I would go on the following year; in the fall of 2007 to conclude with another lady. She, the one who has remained and shall do so unannounced in my poems despite ours being to engage in the total act of carnality in the "Teatr Wielki" during a performance of the Polish opera Halka, mentioned in my first book "New York's Opera Society".

It was with daring that this lady, older than myself took to what we had already performed in my apartment prior to the opera; as her orifice enticed the part of me that would require it, before we both started engaging in disrobing just enough that ours be intercourse in "Teatr Wielki". All in seconds once determination on our parts had set in, that her elegant black dress of night elevated whilst her pantyhose of the same color along with last lacy protection descended; leaving her rose of moisture unprotected from the onslaught of my root. This that which in me was more than willing to make come true; fantasy of mine in a most lustful manner in that place of true culture during the evening's refined spectacle.

This lady whom, I remember by name of "Arleta" as well as her corpulent dripping form and I would go to San Lorenzo; once concluded the opera and back to my place of inhabitance in the city of Warsaw, where ours prolonged itself till the wee hours of the morrow, which did see her depart to her hometown and out of my life. As I out of hers for what I would in safe esteem consider permanently.

In conclusion I would like to say though some of my fantasies have come true as did that soiree with Arleta; there still remains the way I wish to be woken up. It the case though in all truth I am constantly searching not only for this one to fall in to rank with the reality of my life but am doing likewise to find another which I might have in my ambitions to also transform from the fiction of my mind to the solid one of the flesh.

Acrocanthosaurus: The Bones of Contention - Book Review

Russell Ferrell has written a book on the level of a doctorial dissertation about the lives and careers of two extraordinary citizens, Cephis Hall and Sid Love. As stated by the author, "Their story is unique mainly because they themselves are unique. Cephis and Sid are men of uncommon fortitude and rectitude that stood their ground against overwhelming odds and won - a David and Goliath story if ever there was one."

Russell Ferrell has a truly multi-dimensional writing technique of leaving "No stones unturned," which is ideal for describing a dinosaur hunter such as Cephis Hall. By this I mean Ferrell has what might seem to be a rambling, gregarious and verbose style of telling the reader so much information, and proceeding down so many tangents of interest; one may find his work to be scattered at times. However he pulls it together like a virtuoso conductor of an orchestra resulting in a singular message of fortitude against uncommon odds.

Book For Men

As the life quest of digging for the distinctive black color of fossilized remains from the Mesozoic Era conflicted with private land rights of one of America's largest corporations, Weyerhaeuser, the ownership of the bones became a legal issue, as well as trespassing; jeopardizing the path for scientific discovery by Hall and Love. The legal questions involving the precedents of law specific to private land use for fossil gathering with respect to the landowner had not been fully exercised in courts. "If a landowner gave a fossil prospector oral permission to search for fossils on his land, is that tantamount to conveying ownership of any fossilized material recovered on that same private land?" As an excerpt states, "Weyerhaeuser was in the paper and building materials business - obscure and dormant fossils lying around on their vast timberlands were the least of their concerns. It was simply inconceivable for these production-minded, profits-driven, cost-conscious, efficiency-obsessed timber magnates to associate a world class fossil specimen with some diminutive, backwoods hillbilly. In their minds, Hall was not a legitimate scientific-minded explorer and excavator of the natural world, but a mere simpleton and charlatan." This laid the foundation for the epic conflicts of issues to come.

Acrocanthosaurus: The Bones of Contention - Book Review

Further complicating their task, Hall and Love needed the help of scholars, so they enacted the help of paleontologists Dr. Langston and Dr. Pittman from the University of Texas. It was with their efforts the bones of Acrocanthosaurus, a regal theropod from the lower Cretaceous Period, the last period of theMesozoic Era, between the Jurassic and Tertiary periods, were assembled. This monster was clearly at the top of the food chain of the North American plains; a predator defining the word.

What struck me most about Acrocanthosaurus: The Bones of Contention was the depth of knowledge Russell Ferrell so seamlessly and eloquently layers into the substructure of his writing; resulting in a book that educates while entertains. His passion for writing echoes Hall's passion for fossil hunting and together the story takes on a life of its own. It is a very formidable book, requiring much time to page through, just like the task of digging through fields with small hand tools searching for fossilized discoveries. The reader is rewarded with a jewel of a discovery within the book; a series of photographs in the middle of the book which by then becomes extremely relevant and appreciated, forming a visual encounter with the beasts of the past and the heroes that brought them to our awareness. I can say that Russell Ferrell is truly the unsung hero, bringing this story to all of our attention, as a tribute to the work of Cephis Hall and Sid Love, and an inspiration to all that are confronted with behemoths of monetary powers confronting them. As for me, I'd rather confront Weyerhaeuser, than an Acrocanthosaurus any day!

The Joker - Hero Slayer, Hero Maker

Just when you think you have seen the greatest comic book hero movie of all time, it gets displaced soon enough which makes you pause and say, "I thought I've seen it all...."

The recent Batman tale elicits such a reaction it is so philosophically rich thanks to the character of the joker. The recent Batman movie is something that as never been done before. This movie is unapologetically dark and gritty; it's cinematography consistently sticking to dark gray tones throughout. If you are expecting a conventional hero movie where all the protagonists get away unscathed prepare to be disappointed it won't happen so here. This time our heroes are battered, bruised and nearly broken if not dead thanks to....the joker (again).

Book For Men

This is a psychologically heavy film and it's borrowing from silence of the lambs is so obvious but it is still worth the watch, because the same elements in silence is reproduced and applied to our iconic heroes batman and joker resulting in a huge success. Here, the joker evilly lets it all out, much to the disquiet of batman and all the good law abiding citizens of Gotham. Throughout the film one would be compelled to ask more than once if the joker is really truly the bad guy or is the bad guy the hypocrisy that resides within civilized people in times when well things are civilized. One would even be compelled to ask if the bad guy is actually Batman. This is how cannily the joker will manipulate you in the film. However, that would be the conventional train of thought this film wants to lead you into so watching this film requires higher thinking and the ability to glimpse into the inner workings of the sinister mind of the joker.

The Joker - Hero Slayer, Hero Maker

The cast are all veterans in portraying complicated characters, Christian Bale (American Psycho), Maggie Glynehaal (The Secretary) and Heath Ledger (Brokeback Mountain) and they all gave a memorable performance. The best performance in the film goes to Heath Ledger as the Joker hands down totally eclipsing our dark knight. The reason for this is his flamboyantly evil character and his auspiciously philosophically rich dialogue he can sink his teeth into at nearly every minute of his appearance. Truly the most memorable lines in the film are uttered by those characters other than batman. Batman is so eclipsed they should have renamed the film "The Joker".

But really the main point of the film is to make the Joker as some sort of catalyst for events to take in their toll while Batman and the other good guys are in the sidelines reacting to his machinations according to their true nature and so the reason for the Joker's centrality. This film successfully brings our heroes closer to humanity than ever before as we see them break under pressure. This film offers a great exploration of good and evil, and the types of evil people are capable of. But its richest contribution to the comic world is solving the enigma of the relationship between Batman and Joker, because the joker is no conventional crime lord here. To the joker there is a higher power than wealth or gold and to those who see only that shame on you to the joker there is a higher power and that is very simple: to play god among men, testing them over and over again, while men like Batman really have no choice but to triumph in the end.

Virginia Tech, Why God

I could feel my Spirit lift, I felt as though I was floating. I looked down at the lifeless shell that was once my body. It looked empty, meaningless. Just as I began to ponder my death, a light shimmered down towards me. The light was so blinding that I tried to shield my eyes, but I couldn't.

I trembled from my head down to my feet. A supernatural strength engulfed my body as the sight captured my heart and opened my mind to victory. Suddenly an overwhelming love sent joy rippling through my soul. The game of life was over and I had won the ultimate prize. I pondered this illumination.

Book For Men

During my game of life I never gave up, I held tightly to my faith. I refused to do evil, always prayed and held tightly to verses of love, hope and perseverance during the difficult times of life.

Virginia Tech, Why God

I passed my tests of life on earth and now I was brought before the throne of God to receive my reward. I stood before Jesus Christ with no fear. Every good thing I accomplished had been written in the book of life. Every sin I had committed out of foolishness and pride had been erased and pardoned, because of the blood of Christ.

I saw my life appear before my eyes as Jesus lovingly focused His attention on me. It was a flash so powerful that I gained many great revelations. All the times I thought I missed the Lord. All the times I failed to pass a test came flooding back to fill me with understanding about how they helped me find my purpose.

Luke 12: 49-53, "I came to set the earth on fire, and how I wish it were already kindled! I have a baptism to receive, and how distressed I am until it is over! Do you suppose that I came to bring peace to the world? No, not peace, but division. From now on a family of five will be divided, three against two and two against three. Fathers will be against their sons, and sons against their fathers; mothers will be against their daughters, and daughters against their mothers; mothers-in-law will be against their daughters-in-law, and daughters-in-law against their mothers-in-law."

Every word from the Bible opened up and revealed to me their purpose. I began to understand why God made me gay during a time when the church preached that it was sin. When my family, children and church misunderstood my lifestyle, I stopped relying on people and completely dedicated my life to serving God.

My humility, brought on by the persecution I faced, taught me to listen to the voice of God. I understood how the teachings of Christ changed the Laws of Moses and began to set the world on fire. Fire that made families and nations fight against each other so that goodness could be revealed.

These revelations led me down roads I would not have traveled. Roads that led me to fulfill my life purpose. A voice that would inspire me to look at the world in a brand new way. The Holy Spirit taught me the difference between right and wrong.

When we look at the world as a game then we begin to see the battle that is fought between good and evil. The world's current events help us see how the game of life plays out in the world. It shows us how evil fights against good.

Massacres in schools like Columbine and Virginia Tech plainly show how evil can motivate people to do hideous crimes. History exposes the evil lives of leaders who gas their own people and evil regimes that enabled a mad man to annihilate millions of Jews during the Holocaust.

For every evil person who commits horrific crimes against people, many more good people spur stories of truly inspirational lives. Professors who gave their lives for their students. Students who gave their lives for other students. People who died, but how they lived their lives, inspired all of us to choose to be better people.

What happens in life is the very reason why we must understand that we are in a great game of life. It is very easy for us to lose the reason behind why we are born into such a chaotic world. We can get sidetracked by work, higher education, having the newest electronic gadgets, or just by trying to build a better life for ourselves than our parents.

In order to win the game of life we must understand that we are in a game. We also must understand that in order to win, we must fight for the side of good which comes in our belief that there is a God.

Isaiah 45:5-7, "I am the Lord; there is no other god. I will give you the strength you need, although you do not know me. I do this so that everyone from one end of the world to the other may know that I am the Lord and that there is no other god.

I created both light and darkness; I bring both blessing and disaster. I, the Lord, do all these things."

We must grab a hold of the Spiritual part of life all of the time. Not just when we are personally pulled into a dramatic life-changing tragedy. We must understand the battles that are occurring between God and Satan. To do this, we need Jesus to save us and to give us the interpretation of our world through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Job 1: , "When the day came for the heavenly beings to appear before the Lord, Satan was there among them. The Lord asked him, 'What have you been doing?'

Satan answered, 'I have been walking here and there, roaming the earth.'

'Did you notice my servant Job?' the Lord asked. 'There is no one on earth as faithful and good as he is. He worships me and is careful not to do anything evil.'

Satan replied, 'Would Job worship you if he got nothing out of it?'"

From that moment Satan was given control over Job's life in order for God to test him. Job lost his children, wealth and position in society and eventually his health. In his humility, everyone including his wife, tried to get him to believe that this was a punishment sent by God. Job refused to listen and he continued to hold tightly to his faith. Even though he was in the most weakened and afflicted condition that no human being could ever overcome.

Job's life teaches all people about the war we face between good and evil. A war where Satan is given the ability to come in and corrupt the minds of men, if they refuse to give their lives to God and love. These are the people who choose to hurt others.

This is the reason why Virginia Tech happened. This is why Hitler was able to kill so many helpless Jews. This is the reason why genocide occurred in Africa and many other countries. Evil people and regimes gave into evil for power, wealth and influence.

It's time to look at our world as a game. It's time to gain wisdom from the massacres and murders perpetrated on innocent people. We must choose Jesus as our Savior and allow Him to work in our lives for good.

Exodus 20: 18-20, "When the people heard the thunder and the trumpet blast and saw the lightning and the smoking mountain, they trembled with fear and stood a long way off. They said to Moses, 'If you speak to us, we will listen; but we are afraid that if God speaks to us, we will die.'

Moses replied, 'Don't be afraid; God has only come to test you and make you keep on obeying him, so that you will not sin.'"

When God is head of our lives we go through life and evil can't pull us in and make us do its will. No matter what others do to us we never do the same. We look at the evil found in the world and we fight against it because we understand our game and we decide to fight for God!

I stood before my creator, He smiled and said, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."

Resolving Sexual Inhibitions Through Glyphs and Alternative Healing

No one wants to talk about being seriously sexually inhibited. First of all let's understand what that means. Basically it is when a person is unable or unwilling to respond sexually, to enjoy sexual intercourse, or to experience orgasm during intercourse. Sexual inhibitions can be in varying degrees but a surprisingly large number of people have this problem to some extent. Many people who experience this distressing difficulty prefer to be in denial and often blame their partner for their own sexual dysfunction. In a committed relationship, often one of the partners, and sometimes both, are simply unable to sit down and talk about or work through this situation. Sexual inhibitions can cause problems in any intimate relationship if it is not resolved. This is not a problem found only in women. Although seldom spoken about, men are just as frequently affected. It does not matter whether it is a heterosexual or homosexual partnership. Guilt, shame, and taboos from early childhood creep in and undermine the most promising relationships.

A perceived stigma attached to this problem keeps it from being discussed openly and honestly. Many choose a life of celibacy because they prefer not to recognize that their sexual desires are closed down from long standing inhibitions. The feelings of embarrassment and inadequacy prevent many from seeking help.

Book For Men

The typical and traditional course of action to help people deal with this issue is counseling. However, the process of counseling itself adds to the discomfort for many people. No one really wants to discuss intimate feelings or painful and humiliating incidents in their childhood that may be causing the difficulty, not to mention the time spent sitting in someone's office digging into deep dark secrets. The cost of this therapy is another serious consideration.

Resolving Sexual Inhibitions Through Glyphs and Alternative Healing

Now there is an easy answer. The afflicted individual can take a piece of paper called a glyph, and tape it over their solar plexus. During the night a directed energy will remove numerous emotional attachments. Feelings of guilt and shame are gradually removed like peeling the layers of an onion.

There is also a glyph that will remove any possible vows that were taken in a previous life, such as a vow of chastity, which could be at the root of the problem. After using these glyphs a few times a person will suddenly find themselves feeling better about themselves, lighter and happier to be alive in these exciting times.

Another method of removing traces of negative emotions is Thought Friend Therapy also known as Acutapping. By just tapping on a few acupuncture points, a person is able to release any negative feeling in a matter of a couple of minutes.

Both of these methods of effective help are available to every one at a negligible cost or even no cost at all. There is nothing to lose and certainly everything to gain.

All About Antique Fishing Lures

Antique fishing lures may sound like something from a Steampunk novel or from your Grandfather's attic, conjuring images of men with pipes being terribly refined while waiting for a nibble, but they are collector's items now, and some anglers even use them to fish to this day. Where modern fishing lures are sleek and resemble certain types of live bait, the antique fishing lures are more solid and don't look like much other than maybe a slight insectoid appearance to their design. They are effective despite their design, as your fishing forefathers would attest.

If you are interested in collecting antique fishing lures, you may well be interested in the history of the pieces, and the anglers that have used them in the past. This can be an enjoyable starting point for a good conversation with other anglers and enthusiasts. Normally, these antique fishing lures will be suitable for catching any type of fish, with a few exceptions when you take into account species, habitat and so on. Due to the interest in the latest developments with lures, sadly there is scant information on the classics of the industry.

Book For Men

You may find that antique fishing lures are also described as 'Classic' or 'Old' lures by some outlets that still offer these items. Websites and fishing-friendly auction houses are good starting points for finding these examples of fishing curiosities. You'll find a good selection of classic and antique pieces of interest, and you may also find pieces that are still in good enough condition to be used in your fishing activities. You may laso wish to get in touch with fishing organizations that specialize in the history of the hobby, as they will also be able to help you find good antique fishing lures.

All About Antique Fishing Lures

When looking online for antique lures, you will more than likely discover some interesting material on the history and evolution of fishing from a matter of life and food to its current place as more of a hobby and pastime. There are also a wide range of books and guides to the history of fishing and fishing equipment that can help you familiarize yourself with the terminology of these classic pieces of equipment. Fishing magazines are also a good place to look, as they frequently carry articles on classic equipment and the background of fishing as a whole.

While some antique fishing lures can be worth a small fortune, there is always a buyer out there that is interested. That may well be you! Some designs that are around a hundred years old can be worth thousands. Whatever your intention for buying these lures, be it an appreciation of the art of fishing or an active interest in using these classic pieces to catch fish, there is a wealth of information and possibilities for you to discover. Happy searching!

Happy Days, James Dean and Hair Loss

Our hair is incredibly important to us and the way we style it can be an open book about who we are. Our hair can convey to people what type of music we like, that we are modern and fashionable or that we are successful in business. The list goes on and all around the world hair is a very important factor in both culture and religion.

Back in the late '70s I had long hair, as did most of my friends because it was the fashion at the time. Then one Friday after school I came home and watched a certain program for the first time called "Happy Days" which, to an impressionable teenager, was a life changing experience. Not too long after this a film was shown on T.V. called "Rebel Without a Cause". The film starred an actor that I had previously never heard of called "James Dean".

Book For Men

Well, that was it for me. The long hair went and the '50s hairstyle (coupled with a white T-shirt) was most definitely in. Above all else in the world, I wanted to look and act cool. I had always been a reasonably popular kid but in the space of a week or so I had gone from being one of the gang to top of the pack and a lot of girls were starting to show an interest in me. It was amazing. I had managed to change the way that I felt about myself and the way other people saw me all and it had all started just because I'd changed my hairstyle.

Happy Days, James Dean and Hair Loss

Is it any wonder then that it's a very depressing time for people when they first start to notice that they are losing their hair? It can affect some people to such an extent that they opt for a hair transplant. This is a perfectly good solution if you have money to burn. I've seen prices range from to per graft.

There are alternative natural products on the market however. These treatments are suitable for both men and women and it contain ingredients that help to prevent hair loss by blocking DHT and at the same time stimulate re-growth.

Even when he messes up, Bond always has something witty to say about it, even when it appears he's on the verge of death. Sophistication. He knows the finest food, women, and wine. He has style and that's why he orders his drink so specifically - shaken and not stirred. He's not a braggart, though. Anger. He gets mad at appropriate times and in an appropriate manner. He doesn't hesitate to scold a woman when she is being childish or disrespectful to him.

Flirting Tips for Men Role Model 2- Indiana Jones

Harrison Ford plays Indiana Jones in the best possible way, showcasing just what makes him so attractive to the women.

Confidence. Same as Bond. He isn't afraid to jump into the thick of things and is sure of himself. Humor. Again, one reason both men and women loved Indy, is his ability to find humor in the most dire situations. Anger. Princess behavior will piss him off and he's not afraid to let the woman know. But he's not a jerk about it, either.

Flirting Tips for Men Role Model 3- Cary Grant

Confidence: Again, this is the most important trait if you want to be attractive to women. You have to act sure, feel sure, and project that you are sure. Fake it until you make it. In other words, act like you are confident, until it becomes real. And if you do this enough, it will. Humor: Cary was witty as all hell. He can banter with the best of them with ease.

If these three role models don't connect with you, then please feel free to choose your own. Watch Clint Eastwood in any of his movies or Tom Cruise in "Top Gun" or even the cocky Judd Nelson in "The Breakfast Club." Watch them, study them, and emulate them when necessary.

What you will soon discover, and obviously can see in the three examples I gave above, is that these men - or even movie characters - all ooze sex appeal and all have traits in common. Study them and then don't imitate, but emulate them and you will be successfully following one of my most effective flirting tips for men.

The Three Rs of Prophetic Warning - Old Time Stuff That Still Works Today

In the issuance of prophetic utterance there is also a three Rs, spelled correctly they are redemption, renewal and rebuke. It serves well to consider another phrase often used in America usually as a means of expressing some disdain. The phrase 'organized religion' is often used to describe something that should be shunned or critically re-examined in a post modern world.

It seems almost comical to hear someone express their disdain for organized religion when the alternative is considered. Perhaps we have reason to mistrust organized religion but who is going to put much stock in disorganized religion?

Book For Men

As it relates to tenants and practices of religions where the only goal is to perpetuate itself perhaps the arguments may be valid. When religion serves to express the true nature of God and the real purpose of man the expression has less weight.

The Three Rs of Prophetic Warning - Old Time Stuff That Still Works Today

In common discourse or in heated debate the person without a basic definition of their subject matter is at a complete disadvantage. Simply put, most people who disdain 'organized religion' usually have no idea what it is. Catholics rarely know the history of the Papacy and indeed would be saddened by some of its elements if they did. Protestants would be un-nerved to see how far askew some of the once solid historical churches have gone in the modern era. What's missing in either case is a simple definition. It follows that if the religious lack a definition then the completely non-religious person hasn't a clue what they are talking about.

The Apostle James offers what is perhaps the most important definition of religion known to man. It doesn't allude to church attendance, gifts and offerings or any ceremonial observances. John said, "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." (James 1:27)

When Christ rebuked the overly religious Pharisees of his day for attending to every little observance and ceremony but ignoring the matter of merciful behavior, kindness and love he didn't give them a ticket to quit going to church (temple) but said "these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone." (Mt 23:23b) No mystery here, Christ was simply saying that church attendance is great but not if the love and kindness of God doesn't show up in the rest of your life.

It is here that we see that most people who have a disdain for the proverbial 'organized religion' may actually have a morally, ethically and spiritually disorganized life that would not fit well into anything organized be it church or the PTA.

Not everyone without morality, ethics and spirituality stays clear of organization but very often become community organizers. They often think their involvement is on a parallel track with organized religion but without the dreaded allusions to something 'faith based' or Biblically based. They seem to be aloof to the fact that even secularist social organizations have their own brand of Pharisees. They start with the assumption that they are above the dreaded sway of religion but can and do often become self righteous in their pursuit to change society to their own view.

Our President with his odd admixture of Muslim background, Christian profession of faith and almost totally secularist left wing socialist views was once a community organizer. Barack Obama is more than a mere example but in every way he serves to refine the definition of the community organizer and is proof that even in this modern phenomena there are Pharisees. He would change not just his church but an entire country with his views.

Some American Presidents stayed close to their childhood religious upbringing and others not so much. It is known that even Richard Nixon's close friendship with evangelist Billy Graham never resulted in any noticeable change in his church attendance or his attitudes about God. By contrast Abraham Lincoln rarely attended church but was the only President to be labeled the 'Prophet President.' Lincoln was also the only president to use the name Jesus Christ in addresses and letters instead of just using the term 'God' in the more general sense.

But what has all this to do with the three Rs of prophetic warning? By definition all Biblical prophecy is pre-written history. While we can't use this definition to play one-upsmenship with politics it means, that in the contest between politics and prophecy only prophecy is the sure bet.

Those who have read the so called 'final chapter' don't cringe or start biting their fingernails when they watch the History Channels presentation of what would happen if giant meteorites and asteroids struck the planet or if a worldwide plague began to sweep across the globe. They know exactly how things are going to develop and the final outcome.

It is the purpose of prophecy that is overlooked in the excitement and anticipation of the events that will inevitably take place in the history of men. Knowing the purpose of prophecy is what makes the difference. It is similar to the difference between strict adherence to organized religion and the practice of being Christlike on a daily basis. It is the difference between being just a community organizer and being a cohesive and integral part of the community while living in it.

Prophecy is laid on men for three basic purposes. The first is to 'redeem.' Leading someone to the foot of the cross where they see that Christ is not a Pharisee but he is a substitute is step one. He came into the world not to deal with its economy, ideologies, politics or social shifts. The problem Christ came to deal with was as close to man as the heart. He came to deal with sin and in no uncertain terms confessed that until moments before he was crucified. His last word to Pilate was "To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world" (Jn 18:37)

The second purpose of prophetic warning is 'renewal.' The Biblical idea of renewal is not reformation but a complete regeneration of heart, mind and soul. Jesus never asked any person to go and 'reform' but he told them all to go and sin no more, more succinctly they had to start new rather than clean up their act. When someone begins to see what is actually going to happen in our world according to prophecy it almost always results in their starting out in an entirely new path. Not only do they see that it is advisable but in fact it is required.

Paul said "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new." (2 Cor 5: 17) When some were debating about which religion was better, the Judaic system or the Christian religion Paul put them both away with this, "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature." (Gal 6:15)

The third R that defines the purpose of prophecy is 'rebuke.' In the common vernacular it would be God's way of saying 'cut the bull' as it has to do with your personal morality and all the up to you're tinkering with socialism which you have seen has already failed wherever it has been tried.

Prophecy says man will not pull himself up by his own bootstraps but will dissimulate to the depths of depravity before the end comes. So what's the point? Why look for the good if it's all going to go bad. Oddly the scriptures are very clear about the fact that the whole world can be on a fast train to hell and any single individual can choose a completely different path all at the same time.

Prophecy is meant to wise up the wise and get them to respond on a personal level. At the beginning of the most important book of future prophecies in the Bible Christ says "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten." (Rev 3:19a) The entire message of Revelation is a woeful compendium of the result of mans blatant disregard of the commandments of God.

Does he actually have the right to rebuke us? How dare he expect that we should listen and understand and then change our behavior accordingly? After all, isn't man smarter than the dumb elements all around him? Man can predict the weather but can he change it. The one who rebuked and changed the weather is the only one who has any right to rebuke man, and he does.

And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him. And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish. And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. But the men marvelled, saying, what manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him! (Mt 8:23-27)

Redemption is for the lost, renewal is for the believer and rebuke is for all! In America many know this but as these days progress many are willing to let these truths slide, here is my rebuke, don't change America for one man but change one man at a time for America

The 3 Most Important Requirements of Any Woman

Has anyone ever sat down to think about women and what they want? It seems the internet, books and discussion forums are awash with discussions of what men want but nobody seems to care what women want. This is why I am looking at this topic for a change. So what do women want? In my opinion these are the three (3) most important requirements for any woman:

1. Love

Book For Men

Women need Love more than anything else. They like to be cared for and pampered. They also want to be told how much they are loved. It is a waste of time for a man to try and show a woman how much he loves her by acting out, buying gifts, flowers etc but not telling her that he loves her. Words speak louder than action to any woman. One can see a woman who is smitten and hooked to a guy who is penniless but knows what to say to her, treats her like a queen and she will spend her money on him instead. It is often said that, "Tell a woman you love her and treat her well and you can have access to her wealth". This sounds silly but it is true and it is happening all over the world and to people of all races. In Africa, women do not consider a man's financial wealth as important but they feel more secure with a man who loves them and shows it. Statistics show that a lot of women are bread winners and they earn more than their boyfriends or husbands and they live happily as long as there is sufficient love to keep the woman happy. It is also common to find age-gap relationships of even 10 years either way because of love. A young woman can get married to a guy the size of her father, while older women are attracted to young guys who treat them well and shower them with love.

The 3 Most Important Requirements of Any Woman

2. Intimacy

A woman needs and values intimacy. She wants to feel close and part of her man's life. A man on the other hand might feel smothered or crowded by a woman's attention. When a man is busy or preoccupied with a problem, intimacy is the last thing on his mind, yet for a woman, sharing, opening up and being up close and personal is very important if she is experiencing difficulties. A woman's need for intimacy causes her to be viewed negatively as nagging. Women often get frustrated because while they are trying to engage their men in intimacy, the men are trying to run away from the intensity of intimacy and the vulnerability that accompanies it. Men view women as being too emotional or weak but what they do not know is that, women's need for intimacy is a sign of their strength as they are responsible for putting sanity into every relationship. Men should value this quality in women as this need for intimacy makes human beings better than animals in that quality relationships and meaningful bonding is made possible.

3. To be understood

All women wish they could just be understood by their men. It is a futile exercise for a woman to make a man see things from her point of view. However, women can persist and risk being labelled as "nagging" or give up, appear stupid and are dismissed as being insignificant. Women like to talk about everything and they want their men to listen, understand and not dismiss them as crazy. Men often say, "Women talk too much", but hey at least they talk because men don't talk and life would be very difficult with no one talking to the other. When a woman starts talking about issues that she has faced during the day or stuff that's not going on well in the relationship, all she wants is for the man to take time to listen and try to see things from her point of view. Often women get frustrated when the men brush them aside, or offer unsolicited advice or try to solve the problem without really understanding what is bothering them. When a woman nags, she is crying out for someone to understand her and what she needs.

Cosmopolitan Cape Town

Early in January 1999 my husband learned he needed to have his right shoulder replaced. He was 45 years old, and arthritis meant he'd already undergone two hip replacements. The bad news was there was no surgeon in Zimbabwe qualified to tackle this procedure, so we had to travel outside the country for the operation. The good news was that one of the world's top shoulder specialists lived in Cape Town, a city we'd heard so much about from people who'd been there. At that time Zimbabwe was still six months away from it's descent into the tragedy it is today, so it was easy to make the appointment with the surgeon, arrange the expenses with our medical aid company, book the air tickets and contact a friend who'd been transferred there a few years earlier to request accommodation. It took six weeks to get everything arranged, and early in March we boarded the flight from Harare to Johannesburg, and then on to Cape Town.

Our friend Pete was waiting for us at the airport. After we'd collected our luggage we drove to his house. The drive along the highway from the Airport to Cape Town was our introduction to the city we'd be calling home for the next ten days. The highway was in excellent condition, and ran through areas of scrub that flowed away the verges of the road towards distant mountains. However ten minutes later we came across shanty towns that had been erected next to the highway.

Book For Men

They were a shabby reminder than ten years after gaining independence the contrast between the rich and poor has perhaps worsened. The shacks making up the shanty towns were made of every kind of material known to man - corrugated iron sheets and rusty metal sheets combined with wood, cardboard and wire to form an extremely uncomfortable shelter than a family called home. Even more appalling was the fact that many of the shanty houses had run wires to the overhead power lines. This dangerous link was apparently sanctioned by the electricity board - Pete told us that the municipality and the government were failing to keep pace with the demand for houses for the poorer members of society, and preferred to leave the shanty towns intact! A refuse collection service run by the local authority was operating to help keep the shanty towns habitable. We saw a number of shanty towns along the main highways during our stay in Cape Town.

Cosmopolitan Cape Town

Pete lives in a suburb called Somerset West, and his home was a practical and extremely modern cluster home in a compound of about 30 residences. This style of living is very popular in South Africa, because of security and reduced overheads. The complexes are very well maintained because each owner contributes towards the upkeep and maintenance of the complex. Some complexes offer communal playgrounds for all the resident children, tennis courts and swimming pools. Owners are usually able to keep pets too, because each house has its own private garden. It's also a perfect way to live in Africa if one needs to travel or go on holiday - neighbours will keep an eye on the house while you are away. My husband and I were so impressed with this way of living that the following year we bought into a cluster complex my then employers were marketing in Harare. When we sold our house in 2003 we reinvested the money in a second cluster home. If one wants to live in Africa security is very important, and a cluster home complex offers the best level of security for residences.

Pete's a bachelor, so that night he prepared a barbecue in his Weber braai unit. His girlfriend Pat came round to help with the cooking, and we had a wonderful evening. The view from Pete's house was superb. Somerset West is built on a hill overlooking the city, and the view from his verandah offered the classic Cape Town view - the sprawling city at the foot of majestic Table Mountain, the lighthouse and the Atlantic Ocean. His house had three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room, state of the art kitchen and outside laundry/storeroom. He told us he spends most of his time on his verandah or in his garden.

The next morning we had our appointment with the surgeon, who was a Greek Zimbabwean - Basil Vrettos. After his examination and x-rays he booked us into a private clinic, scheduling the operation for 8.00 the following morning. When we asked husband should go to hospital that evening, Mr Vrettos told us to rather book in at 6.00 the following morning, urging us to spend the day relaxing and walking around Cape Town. He told the operation would take four hours, and that the hospital stay would be just three days! We were delighted. Pete had taken leave to be with us during our stay, so the three of us headed into the city.

Although Cape Town is a city, it's more organized and environmentally friendly than Johannesburg, and as a result doesn't sprawl in all directions. Driving into town Table Mountain was clearly visible, and to welcome us that morning it was wearing what locals call The Tablecloth. Although this is simply the white cloud blown over the mountain when a south easterly wind blows, it's very impressive, and there's a wonderful tale that has evolved around this phenomenon. A less famous mountain near Table Mountain is called Devil's Peak, and it's claimed that a pirate called Van Hunks was living out his days on the slopes of this mountain. One day he met a stranger, who challenged him to a smoking contest. Van Hunks, who was extremely partial to his pipe accepted the challenge, and the tow men spent several days puffing away on their pipes. As the smoke clouds gathered a wind blew them down over Cape Town. Van Hunks won the contest, and the defeated stranger revealed himself to be the Devil. This is how Devil's Peak got its name, and the cloud of smoke became known as the tablecloth.

Back to our itinerary. We drove to the Victoria and Albert Waterfront, one of Cape Town's most popular tourist attractions. We walked towards the restaurant area, and saw some cape fur seals frolicking around one of the piers. They were so interesting to watch, and seemed to have no fear of the boats and the noise in this very developed section of the harbour. We found a wonderful restaurant right next to the sea, and ate an excellent lunch of calamari, prawns and French friends all washed down with beer and wine. We then walked off our lunch, window shopping in some of the 400 stores that make up the waterfront. We also walked around the craft market and visited the museum before venturing into the Two Oceans Oceanarium, so named because two oceans meet at Cape Town - the icy cold Atlantic Ocean and the warm, tropical Indian Ocean. Later we drove along the coast and stopped at the point where the oceans meet. One would expect to see a distinct change or some indication that designates this meeting point, but there was nothing apart from a wonderful view across the blue ocean waves.

The oceanarium offers a unique display of all marine life. We stood in awe, watching the endangered African Penguins mingling with Rockhopper Penguins and Oystercatchers in a room designed to perfectly mimic their natural habitat - even their water is piped in directly from the sea. There's also a massive room where visitors look down upon a colony of seas. This room is actually part of the sea, and contains massive barnacle crusted rocks and sandy beaches complete with sea shells. The most exciting moment for me was walking through a clear Perspex tunnel, while sharks and other massive sea species glide silently and stealthily around you. You can watch the sharks being fed while standing in this tunnel, giving you the rather alarming impression that you're in the sea with them as they eat. We were also able to handle starfish and sea urchins - the oceanarium is renowned for educating children about their natural world, so they have a lot of conducted tours for school parties. I will never forget being told that an octopus is actually an incredibly intelligent creature, and many of the octopi in the oceanarium recognize staff members! Hasn't stopped me from eating them!

The following morning I dropped my husband off at the hospital, and spent the next couple of days driving between Somerset West and the hospital. The operation went very well, and the nursing care was excellent. My husband had his shoulder capped rather than replaced, because Mr Vrettos said the damage from the arthritis didn't warrant removal of the shoulder bone. Three days later he was discharged from hospital, the only evidence of his ordeal being the sling on his left arm. To celebrate we decided to visit Table Mountain.

Towering one kilometre above the city, Table Mountain is accessed via cable car, and the journey to the top is spectacular. The car rotates 360 degrees all the way up, affording occupants a unique view of Cape Town. More than 600,000 people travel to the top of Table Mountain every year. Several hikes are available for those fit and energetic enough to climb the mountain - but it takes at least six hours. The top of the mountain is three kilometres long with a lot of clearly signposted natural pathways for visitors to follow. The vegetation is incredible; there are more than 250 different kinds of daisies as well as several plant species that survive and thrive in the unique ecosystem of Table Mountain. There's a rare wild orchid and the silver tree, which produces the silver protea. The animal life on Table Mountain is varied, including baboons, porcupines and the Table Mountain Ghost Frog. We didn't see any of these animals, but I did loose my heart to a creature called a rock dassie. It looks like a rabbit-sized guinea pig, and amazingly its closest relative is the elephant. They're incredibly tame, and have no fear of people. I really wanted to take one home, but husband ignored my rather pathetic pleas! Table Mountain may be one of Africa's most popular tourist destinations, but it's still a relatively natural site. There one restaurant on the summit as well as a post office where mail is sent bearing the Table Mountain postmark. At the foot of the mountain is a souvenir shop, and I bought a little fridge magnet in the shape of a wine bottle filled with tiny stones from Table Mountain. Today that magnet sits on my fridge door here in Greece.

I should mention a couple of other mountains here. Signal Hill is a relatively flat topped hill with a complete view of the city and the ocean. There's a cannon on this hill that is a legacy of the British control over the Cape at the end of the 19th century. Originally the cannons were fired to announce the sighting of a ship. Ship sailing to India from Britain would stop over in Cape Town to restock their supplies before continuing their voyage. Today the cannons are fired at noon every day - except Sundays and public holidays. Another name for Signal Hill is the Lion's Rump. This is because it's actually a natural extension of a mountain called Leeukop, an Afrikaans name meaning Lion's Head. From a certain viewpoint this mountain does indeed resemble a lion's head.

We visited the largest bird sanctuary in Africa, the World of Birds. Home to more than 3000 species of birds visitors walk through the enormous aviaries and experience what it would be like to see these birds in the wild. I recall an enormous hornbill with an affinity for visitors - he would sit on his thick perch calling people to scratch his head. He was at least the height of my torso, and very brightly feathered with an alarmingly large curved beak. The birdlife included eagles, swans, herons, guinea fowl, flamingos and a variety of rare birds from all over the world. World of Birds cares for injured birds, and is a breeding centre for endangered species. The centre is also home to a number of different mammals, and we watched meerkats, squirrels, mongooses, foxes, genet cats and a huge tortoise relaxing in large, very comfortable enclosures. I cannot bear the sight of caged animals, so for me walking through the aviaries and animal enclosures was like being in the wild bush.

No trip to Cape Town is complete without a visit to one of the region's wineries. South African wine is world famous, and the Cape's vineyards are well wroth seeing. A number of wine routes are available, but we don't really being part of a crowd, and because we had an excellent guide in the shape of Pete we took our own route through the Paarl and Constantia districts. We stopped at two excellent wineries. The first one we sat on the verandah of a gracious, old Dutch Gable-style house complimenting glasses of wine with an assortment of delicious cheeses. The second vineyard was called Meerlust, and the reason I remember the name is because of the setting for our wine tasting. They seated us at a gnarled Rhodesian teak table in the wine cellar. Surrounded by hundred of massive kegs of wine we tasted some truly superb merlots, cabernet sauvignon, pinotage and chardonnay. There was also an excellent rose and some fine port. Pete, husband and I bought several bottles to take home with us. On our way back down the winding leafy roads we stopped at a restaurant that was originally a station master's office. The old building, complete with railway track, was a real piece of vintage memorabilia to the Cape's rich and varied history.

That evening we went to watch the first international cricket match at Paarl. Sri Lanka was beaten by South Africa in front of 9,000 spectators. A number of players in both teams are still active in today's cricketing world - Muralitharan, Kallis, Gibbs and Boje are names I remember. It was a day night game, meaning the second innings was played under floodlights and started at about 8.30 pm. There was a lunar eclipse that night - I'd never seen one before, and it was quite impressive, even when viewed without binoculars. Sitting on the grass, drinking wine and eating sausages and syrupy sweet koeksisters (a plaited pastry that is fried and then dipped in syrup) while watching an international cricket game under the stars... even if one isn't a cricket fan it's a special experience.

My one regret is that we didn't get a chance to visit Robben Island. Once used as a leper colony the island is 12 kilometres off the cost, and clearly visible from Table Mountain. During the 19th century Robben Island claimed many ships laden with treasures, and coins have been washed ashore from the shipwrecks. In the latter part of the 20th century Robben Island was notorious as a prison, and one of its most famous inmates was Nelson Mandela, who spent 27 years in a cell on the island.

We left Cape Town a couple of days later after husband had got the all clear from Dr Vrettos. Having been born and brought up in Zimbabwe I've visited several cities in South Africa. Cape Town is absolutely unique, and it's a city that I would dearly love to call home one day. The combination of the sea and the mountains with the wonderful history make Cape Town a varied and interesting place to visit. Cape Town is completely different to other South African cities like Durban, Johannesburg and Pretoria because it's a truly international city. People from all over the world have chosen to make their homes there. The original settlers of the Cape include the Dutch, the French and the British, all of whom have left their own mark on this wonderful city. We have friends who live in Johannesburg, and they tell us they're there for the money (Johannesburg is the financial hub of South Africa). Johannesburg residents complain that the people from Cape Town are very laid back because their lives are less stressful. I would agree with that supposition, and I'd go so far as to say I'd choose quality of life over quantity any day. Cape Town is a magnificent vibrant city.

Blessed Are Those Who Mourn - Matthew 5:4

Our Text:

Matthew 5:4 (New King James Version)

Book For Men

4 Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted.

Blessed Are Those Who Mourn - Matthew 5:4

When Jesus began to understand the Law and the prophets as a young boy, He began to mourn. Mourning in this sense in this scripture verse is to be able to see the injustice in the society that you are in.

Let me illustrate.

In Sydney, Australia where I live, there is an infamous suburb called Kings Cross. That suburb is the place where all the street walking prostitutes ply their trade. In the main street of that suburb there are four places that are strip clubs and brothels combined. The men come in and watch young strippers and when they are in a position that they can be tempted, they are asked if they want to come upstairs for sexual relations. All of the prostitutes that work in these clubs are heroin and cocaine addicts and the club not only takes 50% of the money that they make as a prostitute in their premises, but they also sell the drugs that they use. One third of the clients that come to these workers take a twenty minute booking and buy drugs from the prostitute to have their very first shot of heroin with a needle. Not only are the prostitutes using many thousands of dollars worth of drugs themselves, but they are introducing people to a new drug habit.

Now mourning is knowing all these prostitutes are slaves to their trade through their addictions. You mourn when you know the fact that the clubs that they are working for sell all the heroin and the police force in that suburb know it is going on and support it by taking bribes. The new officers make a pretence of stopping small time drug dealers while the higher ups allow massive amounts of heroin and cocaine to be dealt by the clubs.

Mourning comes from knowing that young boys and girls from about 15 years of age arrive in Kings Cross from all around Australia and within half an hour they are taken to private clubs for prostitution. Knowing that members of the police force, the judicial system and any other person who has good connections can hire these youngsters for sex makes me cry. The police know that this happens also and they do nothing about it.

Mourning is knowing about something that is wrong and an injustice being done and not having the power to do anything about it. The only place that you can get comfort for this is in the arms of Jesus.

As a young prophet of the Lord in training, I see the prosperity doctrine of lies being taught in churches, on television and in books and people caught up in the idolatry and the covetous lifestyles that it promotes going to hell and I am not big enough to stop it all on a world stage.

To mourn is to know what is right and see something very wrong being done instead. When this happens to you and you cry, the arms of the Lord and the peace of the Lord is your comfort.

Knowing that at least seven of the parables of Jesus teach that you can go to hell as a Christian and this fact is not taught in churches makes a person mourn. Knowing that many people in the church are unrepentant sinners ending up in hell makes me mourn. The mourning could drive you into massive depression if you did not spend time in prayer and in the presence of the Lord Jesus.

Look at this passage, a prophecy of who Jesus would be in Isaiah the Old Testament prophet.

Isaiah 53:3-4 (New King James Version)

3 He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

4 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.

Jesus was a man of sorrows. He cried a lot. Although scripture only records Him crying twice, this scripture said he was a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. There is a special sort of suffering when you can see injustice being done and you cannot do anything about it. Jesus used to get comforted every morning as He poured His heart out to the Father.

Therefore, blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Are you mourning today for something?

Be blessed.

Three Halloween Costume Ideas Inspired by the 1700's

The 18th Century is the time period between 1700 and 1799 in historical terms. In Halloween terms, it is a wonderful time period because there are so many uncommon costume ideas that can be inspired by this period. So, if you are looking for a good Halloween costume idea, you should have a look at the books that talk about the European history during the 18th century. To gain inspiration for a royalty costume to wear this Halloween, you will just have to take a look a the wearing apparel worn by royalty or aristocracy in European courts, particularly in places like Russia, France and England.

Obviously, there are a lot of different categories of people; whose clothes may inspire you a 18th century Halloween costume, and not only royalty. During this period of time there were bandits coasting across the water and then robbing ships of various fleets blind.

Book For Men

The freebooter lifestyle was recently explored further in "Pirates of the Caribbean" and the sequels that came with it and it is the reason why pirate outfits are very popular today. Since the means of transportation were very modern during the 18th century, the number of travellers increased, which enabled the bandits to live a very profitable period and this also explains that a lot of history books contain images of bandits garb from this specific period of time.

Three Halloween Costume Ideas Inspired by the 1700's

The 1700's were also the time of revolutions. During this period of time there was the French Revolution and of course the American Revolution that resulted in the birthing of the United States of America. These events bring about the chance of many excellent historically accurate costumes.

You could dress up as a Member of the Commune of Paris, a Founding Father of the United States; or even a Native American like the dissident Dragging Canoe. The historical events that occurred during the 1700's, and particularly the revolutions, should give you lots of ideas for costumes if you are looking to get something done.

Finally, the general dress during that period of time is also something that can give you ideas for Halloween costumes - long jackets, white crops, boots, tricorne for the men and red, white and blue dresses, corsets, umbrellas or powdered wig for the women. Glamour was surely a large part of the daily fashion during this period of time and if you want to relive the 1700's through your Halloween costume, you should definitely add a strong touch of fantasy.

Doing your best in the planning and design is the best way to make 1700's Halloween costumes work for you.

Enjoy your Halloween party!

Niccolo Machiavelli

Niccolo Machiavelli was born on May 3, 1469, in Florence, Italy. He eventually became a man who lived his life for politics and patriotism. Right now, however, he is associated with corrupt, totalitarian government. The reason for this is a small pamphlet he wrote called The Prince to gain influence with the ruling Medici family in Florence. The political genius of Niccolo Machiavelli was overshadowed by the reputation that was unfairly given to him because of a misunderstanding of his views on politics.

Machiavelli's life was very interesting. He lived a nondescript childhood in Florence, and his main political experience in his youth was watching Savanarola from afar. Soon after Savanarola was executed, Machiavelli entered the Florentine government as a secretary. His position quickly rose, however, and was soon engaging in diplomatic missions. He met many of the important politicians of the day, such as the Pope and the King of France, but none had more impact on him than a prince of the Papal States, Cesare Borgia. Borgia was a cunning, cruel man, very much like the one portrayed in The Prince. Machiavelli did not truly like Borgia's policies, but he thought that with a ruler like Borgia the Florentines could unite Italy, which was Machiavelli's goal throughout his life. Unfortunately for Machiavelli, he was dismissed from office when the Medici came to rule Florence and the Republic was overthrown. The lack of a job forced him to switch to writing about politics instead of being active. His diplomatic missions were his last official government positions.

Book For Men

When Machiavelli lost his office, he desperately wanted to return to politics. He tried to gain the favor of the Medici by writing a book of what he thought were the Medici's goals and dedicating it to them. And so The Prince was written for that purpose. Unfortunately, the Medici didn't agree with what the book said, so he was out of a job. But when the public saw the book, they were outraged. The people wondered how cruel a man could be to think evil thoughts like the ones in The Prince, and this would come back to haunt him when he was alive and dead. However, if the people wanted to know what Machiavelli really stood for, they should have read his "Discourses on Livy", which explain his full political philosophy. But not enough people had and have, and so the legacy of The Prince continues to define Machiavelli to the general public.

Niccolo Machiavelli

A few years later the Medici were kicked out of Florence. The republic was re-established, and Machiavelli ran to retake the office he had left so many years ago. But the reputation that The Prince had established made people think his philosophy was like the Medici, so he was not elected. And here the sharp downhill of his life began. His health began to fail him, and he died months later, in 1527.

Machiavelli had been unfairly attacked all of his life because of a bad reputation. But it only got worse after he died. He was continually blasted for his "support" of corrupt ruling. In fact, Machiavellian now means corrupt government. Only recently has his true personality come to light. The world must change it's vision of the cold, uncaring Machiavelli to the correct view of a patriot and a political genius.

Allegro and Your Ballet Dancing

If you see the term "allegro" used in a music book it means brisk tempo or merry, but in ballet allegro is "grand" when it includes big or high travelling jumps and "petit" when the jumps are smaller, faster and more precise.

Petit allegro is used in most of the famous ballets performed on stage. These small, quick, sharp jumps showing precise and fast footwork charm audiences worldwide. A good example of this is the four little swans that dance with their arms interlocked in the second act of swan lake. Petit allegro showcases both male and female virtuosity. Often it is used as a friendly competition between the sexes, as can be seen in the Bluebird Pas de Deux in The Sleeping Beauty.

Book For Men

Grand allegro is used for those thrilling and unexpected moments and often receives applause mid variation. Mostly the Men get to shine in this section, with their soaring leaps and many of them getting to heights that women only dream about. Women's grand allegro though has also come a long way as more choreographers recognise how much strength and stamina today's ballerina has.

Allegro and Your Ballet Dancing

There are many steps in ballet dancing that make up the vocabulary of petit and grand allegro. There are changements, soubresauts, assembles, jetes, pas de chat, entrechats, cabriole, brisse and many others.

Here are some ways in which you can improve your allegro in your ballet dancing:

When starting your jump make sure that you push off your whole foot, all the way through to your toes, and this will increase your elevation and ensures that your feet are well pointed in the air.

When landing, do so through your whole foot, starting with the tips of your toes and ending with the heel touching down. Pressing your heels to the floor will give you greater stability and a secure base for a powerful push off once more.

Use the music by letting the rhythm in the music cue your take off. If the music is really fast concentrate on the landing beat rather than the taking off beat to keep you on time.

Try to control your arms, relax your shoulders and free your neck of tension as you jump.

Make sure that your breathe, as this will add power to your movements and prevent you from becoming out of breath..

Hold your back, especially on your landings. Letting your spine collapse makes it harder to go into the next jump with control.

Islam and Science (How Should the Science Be Treated in Islam)

Islam and science has been an oft quoted term for thinkers, writers and common people. It has created so many new interpretations, sometimes positive and sometimes negative. Here our contention is to provide you the basic concepts in Islam to make the idea clear. Islam is a philosophy as well as science, only point to understand is how strong the link is between these two. Has there been any link or not? And if there is to what extent is it practical? We see number of people around us who do not consider science important and therefore do not bring it in their lives arguing that it is a materialistic approach towards life. Is this true for their lives? There have been so many Articles and lectures written on this specific topic and here our purpose is to show you the real picture and let you decide what the reality in Islam is.

Before going into any further detail it is important to know what science really means. There are so many interpretations and here is one of those, "Science basically is an understanding of a particular thing that exists physically and the use of the principles of that understanding for the benefit of the humanity".

Book For Men

After reading the definition one can understand that it is not a new thing because its existence has been long since the beginning of humanity. Man has always tried to make things easier and simpler for his domestic and industrial life. Before Islam great names like Aristotle and Plato are examples for the great work that also highlights the importance of philosophy. Now we will discuss science after the existence of Islam.

Islam and Science (How Should the Science Be Treated in Islam)

Most of scientists and thinkers believe that arrival of Muhammad (SAW) and Quran was the most important and boasting point for science. It is basically arrival of reality that helps to understand the universe and purpose of its creation. In fact that was the period when science got new spirit despite of the fact that philosophical explanations were made continuously. Quran and Hadith describe their position openly and clarifies that there is no clash between Islam and science rather it is wrong explanation of science that has made it suspicious. First we look at the life of Muhammad (SAW). His life is true explanation of the basic of the science in which He rooted out superstitions and old traditions and told the people reality. He knew the importance of knowledge and made it compulsory for every men and women. He raised the degree of learning seventy times higher than prayer to prove that for the understanding of religion, knowledge about universe is important. Is this not the purpose of science? Science also rejects superstitions and makes people aware of true facts of the universe. After Allah Almighty He is the only person who knows everything about this universe and to prove this He spent a practical life and gave principles with logics on all fields of life. Here a question rises, "Did He invent something?" The answer is no, because science is an awareness it does not require invention. Yet His teachings and philosophy are becoming theories of science day by day.

Now we come to Quran, almost every person believes that Quran is the only authentic and sacred book of this universe because books of other Prophets are either changed or not present today. The whole Quran is science in itself and calls the people to discern the hidden realities of the universe. It is said hundreds of times in Quran that there are signs for those who think and understand. Quran explains every field of science and predicts even those things that man does not know. From the creation of this world and man and to the destruction of this universe, Quran explains everything. To prove this following statement is enough, "There is no discovery or invention of the science which is against the basic teachings of Quran and Hadith," Therefore Muslims, Christians, Hindus and Jews, they all know that Quran is the only book of this world that can guide them to find the hidden realities of this universe.

Then where the problem is? This is the real question and here is its answer. Islam says, "We should explore nature and universe to believe in oneness of Allah and to get the blessings of Muhammad (SAW)." It means that the ultimate result should be the formation of a society where, by new discoveries, positive changes come and people becomes obedient to Allah Almighty. This is also the purpose of our creation and science makes it clear for us to be obedient to Allah and Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

What we have done is our wrong approach towards science. We have started to use science with materialistic approach which means we believe only those things that happen before our eyes or that have physical existence. This phenomenon makes us materialist. Basically this concept is against the construct of science because science can only predict something. It is true that there are so many theories that are considered final but on the other hand it is also true that they are not final verdicts. With the progress of science theories change time to time. Take the example of Biology that after every fifty years changes completely. Atom was considered undividable but now it has more than hundred sob-atomic particles. It is because Quran is final verdict not the science and Quran does not require any scientist. Science supports spirituality and those things that do not exist physically. With the scientific discoveries we can predict that there is Heaven and Hell, and that there is life after death. How strange it is that we believe Newton's Gravitational Law and do not believe that if gravitation force is pulled out nothing will survive on the earth.

To make it short, Islam does not believe the materialistic approach towards science rather it takes science as an instrument to guide the people and to make the Quran and Hadith clearer for humanity. Its predictions are and discoveries, if we take them in their real sense, do take us near to Allah and show us the authority of Almighty. How strange it is that Quran that is sent for all the humanity, does not has the link with an ordinary field science.
